Our new Flex system, preamp and powered cab combo has just had its first published review—and it’s a rave.

Writing in the January issue of Bass Player, bassist, author and blogger Ed Friedland praises Flex for both its “pure acoustic tone” and  “great low-end response and control” in a small, powerful package.

After extensive playing through the Flex Pre and Power alone (with a wide variety of other equipment) and together as a system, Friedland clearly liked what he saw and heard, suggesting that Flex could be AI’s “most versatile product yet” as “a full-range system, for any acoustic instrument”, including upright and electric bass, keyboards, guitar, and vocals.

Friedland’s very positive reaction parallels that from musicians all over who have purchased Flex preamps and powered cabs separately or as a system. We’re also getting great feedback about our new Series 4plus Series heads and combos, incorporating  the new preamp design.

Overall, we’re hearing that  Acoustic Image products are truly better. It feels good. But it also keeps us focused on our commitment to further improvements in the future that will assure that our products are Better Still.
